Congratulations to our Biochemistry Honours student Camille Wouters and Immunology Honours Student Alex Vassallo on the first degrees!

 

Camille Wouters was awarded a first degree in Biochemistry from the University of Edinburgh and was awarded the Biochemistry Research Project Prize for her project “The role of Ago2 and microRNAs in murine cytomegalovirus infection”. Camille has been accepted into the PhD program at John Hopkins University. Good luck Camille!

Alex Vassallo was awarded a first degree in Immunology from the University of Edinburgh and did an excellent job on his project in our lab, entitled “Parasite modulation of the intestinal epithelial stem cell niche: a role for extracellular vesicles?”.
