Research Interests

I am interested in the evolution of host-microbe interactions. I use a combination of computational and experimental approaches to investigate the evolution of symbiotic and parasitic traits in host-microbe associations. The current focus of my research is the role of secreted small RNAs in host- parasite communication in helminths that infect the mammalian gut.
