Research Interests

My core research interest is T cell biology and signalling. In particular I am interested in the regulation of TCR signalling. My PhD project is focused on how the abundance of the Src family kinase LCK contributes to the regulation of naïve CD8 T cell signalling and gene expression. Favourite techniques include flow cytometry and CRISPR gene editing. In the Buck lab I am involved in characterizing the immune response elicited by recombinant versus messenger RNA vaccines against helminths.
